How can we help?

1. On the home screen, tap Start a new room. You’re the host.
2. Choose six categories, name both teams, and pick three lifelines for each team.
3. Tap Start game. Teams take turns picking questions from the board.

They open Fateen, tap Got a code? and enter the six-letter code shown in your room. They can also scan the room’s QR code with the iPhone Camera, or tap an invite link you share from the room.

Yes. The host’s phone runs the whole board, so you can gather around it, split into two teams and play. Friends only need their own phones if they want to pick lifelines and follow along from where they sit.

The host. After revealing the answer, the host chooses which team got it right, or Nobody, and the points go on the scoreboard.

Each team brings three of the eight lifelines into a game, and each can be used once. Double is played from the board before picking a question; the others are played while a question is open. See them all on the home page.

• Check the code: it has six letters and numbers. Codes never use O, 0, I or 1, so they’re easy to read aloud.
• New players can’t join once the game has started, or after the host ends the room.
• Rooms close on their own after a long idle spell. Ask the host to start a new one.

Hosts can tap ••• next to any player in the room and choose Remove from room. A removed player can’t rejoin that room.

Then email us the room code and what happened. We review reports of abuse and act on them within 24 hours.

Open Fateen again and join with the same code from the same phone. You’ll go straight back to your seat and team, even in the middle of a game.

While the question is on screen, tap ••• and choose Report question. Pick a reason and add a note if it helps. Our editors review every report and fix or remove the question.

Less and less. Each board is drawn fresh from the question bank, and questions that were just played move to the back of the line.

Tap your avatar at the top of the home screen. You can change your name, emoji, color and language there; switching language changes the whole app, questions included.

Fateen has no accounts. Your profile lives on your phone, and deleting the app removes it. Rooms, with their players, are deleted automatically within 12 hours. The details are in our Privacy Policy, and you can email us about anything else.
